Hellasgrid main objective is the development of a Greek National Strategy on Grid technologies and the coordination of the related communities' activities & actions, so as to provide a seamless electronic infrastructure environment throughout Greece and facilitate the communities' participation in pan-European and international efforts.

DILIGENT, being an infrastructure project capable of driving use and promotion of grid, has been officially introduced to this community during the EGEE integration meeting.
