We are pleased to inform you that we managed to integrate GWT with JSR 168 portlets. JSR 168 is a standard API for creating portlets, Java-based Web components managed by a portlet container. Additionally, GWT (Google Web Toolkit) is an open source Java software development framework that allows developers to create web application by spending minimal effort. So, the integration between the aforementioned two components is of great importance because we can now combine the generality of the portlet standard with the attractiveness and easy production of graphical user interfaces developed on GWT.
