Representatives from the DILIGENT consortium participated in the first Conceration Meeting on eInfrastructures, contributing to the creation of a framework for the shared use of distributed electronic resources across Europe.

The first Concertation Meeting on eInfrastructures took place in The Hague on 22-23 November and was hosted by EGEE, DEISA, SEEGRID and GEANT2 projects. DILIGENT, as a potential consumer of infrastructure services was invited to contribute recent information about the development of the project, as well as the project's anticipated future needs and requirements. The benefits of closer collaboration between the infrasctructure projects (the "service providers" and "technology providers") and the more research-oriented projects include common strategy development and increased networking activity.
